At RiverWood Designs, I offer a unique approach to buying furniture because I understand that each person has individual tastes and requests.
You are invited to come into my workshop and discuss your ideas; look at the wood in stock, chat about the colour, the knots and the character in each plank before you choose for yourself the very piece you have fallen for! Only then will the designing begin, again you are invited to be involved in this process and all ideas are welcome!

Then, the work gets started and you will be presented with a truly bespoke piece of handcrafted furniture.

As all our pieces are handmade we endeavor to package & ship our items in the most secure way, meaning it will arrive in exactly the same way it left our workshop/showroom. Some larger items will require single or even double pallet delivery.

Q. Do I need to have any woodworking experience?
A. No, we have tailored these courses for beginners. All we ask is you have an interest in woodworking and we will take care of the rest.

Q. Do I need to bring any tools or equipment?
A. No. All tools will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own tape and pencil if you wish
​
Q. What should I wear?
A. Clothes that you don’t mind getting dusty and comfortable footwear is also advisable.

Q. Is there lunch provide?
A. Sorry we dont supply lunch, you can bring your own or there's a nearby garage/deli. Plenty of Tea/coffee, biscuits etc. are supplied throughout the day (free)
